The Acer H5360 is one of two Nvidia-3D-ready projectors (H5360, X1261) released in March 2010. They combine DLP projection technology with Nvidia 3D Vision technology to transform any flat surface into a 3D screen. The H5360 is the superior of the two, as it supports 720p video, illumination up to 2500 ANSI lumens, a high contrast ratio of 3200:1, and a 50-120Hz vertical refresh rate. More importantly, it hosts an HDMI interface, three RCA jacks, a PC D-Sub port, and component/S-Video connectors for connecting to practically any source. Active-shutter glasses are required, but one pair can provide up to 40 hours of 3D entertainment with a single charge. The technology behind the H5360’s performance is ColorBoost II+, which utilizes an optimized 3X color wheel and an advanced lamp waveform to improve color performance. An internal speaker is included, but it’s only 2-watts, meaning that external speakers are highly recommended.
