Cons

when it comes to battery life, AMD based devices can't keep up with their Atom / Core 2 ULV based equivalents - ~3:30 minutes of battery life

2 agree

touchpad multitouch gestures don't work well

1 agrees

slower 1.3GHz core speed - like Intels Core 2 ULV it is poorer for intensive applications that require raw single core processing power (eg/ games)

1 agrees

lots of pre-installed bloatware

Edit

The Acer Aspire One 721 is an addition to Acer's AMD based netbook line up along with the smaller 521. The 11.6'' Aspire One 721 offers the same range of ports as the 521 with three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and 3.5mm audio in/out jacks. It comes with the AMD Athlon II Neo K325 processor which is a direct competitor to the Intel CULV processors. It should be pointed out that the Aspire One 721's chassis is identical to the Aspire 1830 (identical keyboard and touchpad), which uses Intel's CULV processors. The 721 comes with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4225 graphics with the ability to playback high definition content. The  6 cell battery (5600mAh) can provide between 6-7 hours of run time. It is available in silver, black, red, and brown colour options. It also features a card reader, bluetooth and wireless (wifi and 3G options) and wired (LAN) connectivity.
