Edit

The Acer AOD255E-1802 is an extremely budget-friendly netbook designed strictly for basic computer access—completing work, browsing the web, and checking email. It builds from the original AOD255E-13444 model by upgrading from a single-core CPU to a dual-core Intel Atom N550 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz. This gives it the capacity to much more efficiently and effectively handle multiple simultaneously running applications at once, though there is still a limitation as per the limited 1GB of DDR3 RAM. All in all, the AOD255E-1802 netbook has no real entertainment potential, besides for the purpose of watching low-resolution films. It does however support web conferencing via a webcam and microphone, and ultra-fast network connectivity via the 802.11N wireless standard.
