The Acer TravelMate 8372 Timeline is an ultraportable business laptop to be released in 2010. Replacing the 8371 Timeline in the TravelMate series, it features a 13.3", 1366x768 display, and will be available with a TurboBoost-enabled processor from the Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 lines and up to 160 GB of solid-state storage capacity. Exact CPU, memory, and hard drive options are not yet known. LED backlighting and advanced power management capabilities combine to extend battery life to up to 8 hours and qualify the notebook for Energy Star. A DVD burner and multi-in-one card reader are standard. Targeting mobile corporate users, the TravelMate 8372 is available with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G connectivity, in addition to security features like a fingerprint reader and anti-shock protection.
