The Acer TravelMate 5530 is a lower mid-range notebook intended for personal or business use, and falls near the beginning of Acer's TravelMate lineup. It has an AMD Athlon X2 QL-64 processor, which operates at 2.1GHz and has two cores and 1MB of L2 cache. It has 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 160GB SATA hard drive, as well as a Super-Multi optical drive that can read and write  numerous types of DVDs and CDs, as well as a 5-in-1 memory card reader. The 5530's display size is a 15.4" widescreen LCD screen. It also has built-in Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/Draft-N wireless connectivity. Its graphics processing unit is ATI's Radeon HD3200, which is compatible with Microsoft's DirectX 10, and the operating system is Windows Vista Business.
