Edit

The Acer Aspire Ethos 5951G is a 15.6’’ notebook computer designed for multi-media usage. It is an addition to the Aspire Ethos line alongside the 18.4’’ model. This Windows 7 based notebook is powered by a second generation Intel Core I series processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 5 series dedicated graphics card. One feature that is found on an increasing number of notebooks is the Acer InstantOn Arcade; this allows the user to watch movies, listen to music, and view photos store on the hard drive without taking the time too boot into Windows. Other features include an USB3.0 port, Blu-Ray drive option, and a battery that is advertised to last up to three times longer with 1000 charge cycles. Whilst the Acer Aspire Ethos 5951G offers a host of features, the retail price tag might be too high for buyers who have come to expect Acer to offer performance parts at a budget price.
