Acer Apsire 5520 is targeted at home users and students. Supporting a little more than basic needs, the Aspire 5520 comes with AMD Turion 64 2X Dual Core processor acting at 2.0HGz. 3GB of memory is installed however this can be upgraded using the two memory card slots. Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 7000M graphics card displays onto a 15.4” LCD screen. The chipset installed in this model is NVIDIA nForce 610M, different from most other models. Standard on Acer notebooks are Crystal Eye webcams, integrated with Acer Video Conference for communication convenience.  For added signal efficiency, the Aspire 5520 comes with Acer SignalUp technology working on InviLink 802.11b/g wireless LAN. For mobility purposes, Acer powers this model with a six-cell lithium ion battery providing 2.5 hours of life.
